In cooperation with project partners, Municipalities of Donja Voća, Radenci, Zreče, Department of Archeology of the University of Ljubljana and Turopolje Museum, Archaeological Museum in Zagreb presents the project "Prehistoric Adventure – experiential walk through prehistoric heritage with a poster exhibition “Prehistoric Adventure”. The project is carried out as a part of Interreg Program V-A Slovenia-Croatia for the 2014-2020 period and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
In the project’s focus are the presentation, promotion and sustainable development of the cultural heritage in Donja Voća, Radenci, Zreče and Turopolje, and it is based on the cooperation of Croatian and Slovenian experts, whose task is to define new methodological approaches and devise innovative and interactive elements for a comprehensive interpretation of prehistory.
Along with the cultural heritage of these regions, the exhibition presents ways to activate its potential and incorporate it into the touristic offer by incorporating the results obtained through scientific research, by organizing workshops, camps and exhibitions and designing new thematic routes and tourist products, as well as by using new information and communication technology tools.
